This Privacy Policy explains how NANO POD HOTEL (“Hotel”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares personal data through (a) our website https://www.nanopodhotel.com, (b) our booking journey that redirects to a third-party booking engine, and (c) guest communications including WhatsApp.

This policy is intended to reflect common privacy notice expectations under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and, where applicable, GDPR-style transparency and California CCPA/CPRA-style notice concepts.​

What we collect and why

We collect personal data that you choose to provide, such as your name, phone number, email address, and the content of your inquiry or message.

A) Booking-related (via redirected booking engine): When you proceed to book, you may be asked for guest and reservation details (e.g., guest name, contact details, dates of stay, number of guests, preferences/special requests) to create and manage your reservation.

B) WhatsApp booking inquiries: If you contact us on WhatsApp, we receive the information you send (e.g., dates, number of guests, and contact details) to respond and assist with booking.

C) “Inquire for Franchise” form: If you submit a franchise inquiry, we collect the details you provide (typically name, phone, email, location/city, and business/franchise-related information you choose to share) to evaluate and respond to your franchise request.

D) Website technical data: We may receive basic technical data (e.g., IP address, device/browser information, and limited logs) to keep the website secure and functioning.

Booking engine redirect and data sharing (MMRHotels / Stayflexi)

The Book Now button on https://www.nanopodhotel.com redirects you to our third-party booking engine link: https://bookingengine.stayflexi.com/?hotel_id=33892.

We use MMRHotels (www.mmrhotels.com) as our Channel Manager and Booking Engine provider, and booking data entered on the booking engine is always shared with and processed by this provider to create/manage the reservation and transmit booking details to the Hotel.

Where required by applicable law, such third-party service providers are engaged with appropriate contractual and security obligations consistent with controller–processor expectations (for example, GDPR-style Article 28 arrangements).​

WhatsApp-specific note

WhatsApp/Meta processes data under WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy practices, and WhatsApp states that for the WhatsApp Business app, the information shared with other Meta companies can include account registration information, device/IP information, and information about how the business interacts with customers (among other categories).​

Retention and security

We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described above (for example, handling your booking, responding to your inquiry, maintaining business records, and meeting legal obligations).

Reasonable safeguards are used to protect personal data; however, no online transmission or storage system can be guaranteed 100% secure.

Your rights and how to contact us

Depending on applicable law and your location, you may request access to your personal data, correction/updating, and deletion/erasure, and you may also have the right to grievance redressal through readily available means provided by the organization.​

Where GDPR applies, transparency expectations include informing individuals about purposes, recipients, retention, and key data subject rights (including withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent).​
